After the feature film "The Lives of Others" a real story is revealed to the audience.
This is the story of Ivanka Lefeuvre.
Ivanka Lefeuvre speaks of a time not so long as that. The Berlin Wall has not yet fallen. Behind the Iron Curtain, the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) is all powerful. In 1971, Ivanka, fifth-year student of psychology, will spend six months in jail for distributing leaflets. To make a living, she became a dancer in a cabaret. The police machine is launched. Despite some suspicions, she will never see her "guardians". December 28, 1976 Ivanka sign Charter 77. Police pressure intensifies. End 1981, she has no choice but exile in France. "I thought it was for one or two years, we were going back to Czechoslovakia," she recalls. His travel document is marked "unproven nationality.".
In 2007, she began research in the state police archives. Her secret dossier and code name is named" Baletka" ( "dancer" ). She realizes what happened. The memories go back.

The story is inspired from a novel, "Vivre fatigue", by the French poet, playwright, screenwriter, and novelist Jean Claude Izzo, deceased in 2000.
